  • 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
  • 34 tablespoons milk or cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together softened unsalted butter, light brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking soda, ground cinnamon, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  4. Fold in old-fashioned rolled oats gently until evenly distributed.
  5. Spread the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown.
