This simple and comforting crockpot chicken and gravy is the perfect meal for busy days. With minimal prep and a rich, savory sauce, it’s an easy go-to dinner option that the whole family will enjoy. Serve it over hot cooked rice for a complete meal.
3 to 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 can (10.5 oz) unsalted cream of chicken soup
2 packets (0.87 oz each) chicken gravy mix
1/2 cup water or chicken broth (optional)
Hot cooked rice, for serving
Place the chicken breasts into the crockpot.
In a small bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup and chicken gravy mix. If you prefer a thinner gravy, add 1/2 cup of water or chicken broth to the mixture.
Pour the soup and gravy mixture over the chicken breasts in the crockpot, ensuring the chicken is well-covered.
Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 4 hours (240 minutes), or until the chicken is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the crockpot and shred it using two forks.
Stir the gravy in the crockpot to combine, then return the shredded chicken to the sauce. Mix well.
Serve the chicken and gravy over hot cooked rice and enjoy!
