  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 slices of crusty bread (like ciabatta or sourdough)
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/4 cup additional grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: sliced tomatoes
  • Optional: crispy Turkey Bacon

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
  2. Mix flour with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish.
  3. Dredge marinated chicken in the seasoned flour mixture.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet to 350°F (175°C) and fry the chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown.
